Hmm, it’s three weeks until the book comes out, which is really, really exciting. I’m trying to figure out what to do on the blog in the run-up to publication date (November 21). If you have any ideas, let me know!

How about giving away a few copies? Maybe some kind of contest or random drawing? It looks nice btw!
It may be a little late to organize a blog book tour before the launch at this point, but the first tour I did for Karl Kapp was after Gadgets, Games, and Gizmos for Learning came out. For Learning in 3D, he sent electronic proofs to everyone on the tour so we read it in advance of the launch. It’s probably too late to do it with proofs, but if you can get a few copies to people you can do it after launch.
Any sort of contest or giveaway of a free books is good too though.
That’s a great point — it wouldn’t have occurred to me that people would particularly interested in my internal process, but I actually love reading about other people’s. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
I’d love it if you wrote about some of your experience writing the book. Why did you write it, why are you publishing the way you are, what lessons did you take away?

Thanks! I *love* that idea. Will work on logistics.

Julie this sounds great, I’ll pre-order a copy right away!
Thanks!
Hi Julie
Looking forward to this very much. Scott Berkun has is currently doing some interesting marketing with his new book Mindfire.
Something you don’t read much about is what an author hopes for their book.. who it will reach.. what will folk get from it…
Have a great launch.

Hi,
I’d love it if you wrote about some of your experience writing the book. Why did you write it, why are you publishing the way you are, what lessons did you take away?
best of luck with the book!

Thank you! As I said to MrsMoti, it wouldn’t have occurred to me that would be interesting, but it makes complete sense. Thanks for the suggestion.
Preview video explaining how you would apply one of the ideas in your book. See Dan Roam’s blah blah blah trailer.
